Retailers are joining the technology game with manufacturers and designers to engage potential customers even when they’re not in the store. Smartphone apps allow interactive processes to guide engagement ring purchases even after the store is closed.
Hamilton Jewelers, which has locations in both New Jersey and Florida, recently launched their â€śWith This Ringâ€¦â€ť app with GemFind.
The app allows users select from one of Hamiltonâ€™s many engagement ring collections and then select a loose diamond based on cut, color and clarity (alongside educational information on the 4 Câ€™s). The app goes the extra mile too, including creative proposal ideas and reminders of important aspects of the engagement process. Users can bookmark their favorite designs, save rings they design, and watch videos within the app.
